Use of e-Portfolio to ensure a meaningful, academically rigorous outcome from internships, including a template based upon standards and goals of experiential learning and a website which connects students with a Long Island Alternative Energy Consortium of seven academic institutions dedicated to strengthening energy education.

Project Outcome:

Faculty cohort (n=16) in health professions (Nursing, PT, Pediatrics) report FaceTime can be effective for use in Grand Rounds. Report includes issues regarding secure network connectivity within hospital environments to ensure HIPPA compliance.

Pilot exploration of e-textbook adoption to assess the impact of price on e-textbook adoption and investigating the feasibility of a student-centered e-textbook model.

Project Outcome:

443 student pilot over 6 courses and 3 LMS indicated that e-Textbooks from publishers held promise but lacked flexibility and accessibility. 63% of students accessed via laptops, 16% on desktops, 11% during test phase on mobile devices. Complete data available.
