Project Summary:

Veterinary clinical training follows an apprenticeship model in which trainees observe experienced clinicians treating cases presenting to teaching hospitals. High fidelity patient simulators enable an approach based on deliberate practice, in which relevant clinical scenarios designed to reinforce specific learning objectives are presented to trainees, who apply their knowledge in real time.

Creation of a virtual environment to support access to microprocessor boards, data acquisition device or even a medical device that students need to connect to understand certain software. Students connect their hardware to computers that do not have the required software environment and still be able to remotely access the developing tools.

Project Summary:

Development of a collaborative, train-the-trainer model to empower students and faculty with digital literacy skills as life-long media learners and to share media skills with one another, our community partners, and the public.

Project Outcome:

In addition to project outcomes presentations, the website provides several modules for "how to" edit audio, photos, create a portfolio, and use other multimedia tools for lesson preparation.
